New tendencies in development of network infrastructure increase requirements to reliability and safety of network. The modern appendixes are more oriented to work in real time, than on work with intermediate data storage. Thus requirements to probability of continuous work of corporate network rise up to 100%. Such high demands are made by banks, state structures, major concerns etc.

In my master’s work I develop the project of modernization of corporate network for the Open Joint Stock Company "Artyomovsk non-ferrous metals processing plant". A former network was based on the pairs of modems and dissatisfied to the requirements on speed of work.

In this case actuality of construction of reliable and protected corporate network is grounded by the requirements to work of the special software product IT-enterprise, which must be installed on all working stations into the enterprise, which relate to the production process. This software product allows to automatize many processes, which before required the heavy tolls of working hours, such as book-keeping, control of production process, account of raw material and prepared products, and other.

And also for this network the high degree of safety of information is required. The reason of such requirements are some scientific developments and know-how which are used in production. The loss of important information can entail considerable losses.

The purpose of my work is the construction of mathematical model of reliable and protected corporate network on the example of network for the OJSC “Artyomovsk non-ferrous metals processing plant”. Model properties will change depending on the requirements of customer and from the sphere of using of the network.

The following tasks decide thus:

1) The choice of topology and transmission media;

2) The choice of active components;

3) The choice of method of reservation;

4) The choice of information defence complex;

5) The estimation of readiness coefficient of the model;

The supposed practical value of work consists in possibility of application of the model for determination of protection level of any corporate network. And also it will help to form the complex of measures on strengthening of safety level of the corporate network.

The following results are now got:

- the corporate network is projected, mounted and put into operation;

- mapped out some measures on organization of informative safety;

It is planned to create a mathematical model of the corporate network which would satisfy the most exacting demand. It is also important to make an economical substantiation of the project to show the leader of the company the expediency of the investment.

At the observance of rules of installation and the exploitation of the network, and also at forming of clear corporate policy of safety this system will last 15-20 years without the substantial refusals and major repairs.
