ABOUT MYSELF
I, Sudilovskaya Elena, was born on June, 16, 1984 in Donetsk in the family of simple workers. My mother – Sudilovskaya Svetlana, 1964 – works in trolleybus depot ¹1. My father – Sudilovskiy Igor, 1963 – worked in to the regional militarized mine-rescue detachment. On August, 21, 1992, doing his duty he perished on Skachinskogo mine. Brother – Balbert Danil – 1996, studies in the third form of school ¹5.
CHILDHOOD
Up to two years old, I was a home child. Then I went to a kindergarten, was a helpful, friendly child. I learned to read at 4. New friends, new acquaintances appeared the kindergarten.
SCHOOL YEARS
Right after the kindergarten in 1990 I went to secondary school ¹88, but after a year, it was necessary to find a new school, because we moved, and I went to school ¹30, but here as well I did not stay too long, because after my father’s death we were given a new flat. So it was now very far from school, and I had to leave all my friends and to begin a new life. In 1993 I was in a new school already, school ¹5, in an experimental class, at that time the best class. From 1994 to 1995 I went in for volleyball, took part in competitions. The interest in that disappeared in the course of time. Also I took part in art exhibitions. I took up basketball and took part in sports competitions, took first places. I left school without gold medal, but I studied well – only four good marks in the certificate. My favourite subject was chemistry.
CHOICE OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT AND EDUCATION
I chose the institute myself. But up to the ninth form I wanted to enter medical institute. But on havins second thoughts I decided that it is not for me. Why DONNTU? Because it is most perspective among other Institutes. And that is why in spring 2001 according to the rating systems I entered the faculty of geotechnology and management of production on speciality: “Ecology of mining technologies”, because already on that moment ecology was in a very bad condition, especially at mining enterprises. The first term was difficult to study, but later it appeared that not everything is that bad. The teachers are not “beasts” as it seemed to us, but they are remarkable people who only to teach us something. I will always be grateful to them for that. Years of studies were interesting, bright, even partly carefree. These years, I am sure, will be unforgettable, in fact it is the happiest time in my life. A lot of friends and acquaintances have appeared during my studies. Many of them are my close friends. In 2005 I got the bachelor degree in “Ecology” entered the master’s degree course in DONNTU.
MASTER'S DEGREE
To study for a master’s degree I’d planned since my second year. But my final decision was only when I had to write the application form. My supervisor Kostenko Victor Klimentievich, professor, and now the head of the “Nature protection activity” department offered the theme: “Estimation of methane supplies in the mining field of Zasyadko mine”. For 2,5 years it has been very interesting to work with Victor Klimentievich him. Now I am workings at collection of materials for my master’s degree work.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
First I want to get a master’s degree, and then to find a job in my speciality, so that 5 years of studies were not wasted. And certainly, to help people solve thise global problem of ecology.
